Access Training opens new workshop

Access Training are opening new workshop facilities for Security Systems Apprentices at the Gateshead Skills Academy.

8th March 2018

Through donating a wide range of equipment, employers (and suppliers) have helped Access Training to create a practical training facility for the Security sector in the North of England.

This facility will help Access Training to train apprentices for years to come, while also helping to prepare apprentices for new end point assessments which will include apprentices carrying out complex practical activities in examination conditions (required for the new apprenticeship standards).

Lord John Stevens, formerly Chief Inspector of Northumbria Police, Commissioner of London Metropolitan Police and current Chairman of the Protector Group, has agreed to officially open the centre on Monday 26th March 2018.

If you would like to visit the centre or require any information contact Access Training Manager Susan Harris on 0191 4904682 or email sharris@accesstraining.org
