Apprentices for Fire & Security were delighted to support New College Lanarkshire at their Annual Awards Ceremony in October, where 38 3rd year Fire & Security Apprentices received awards. Amongst those were Stuart McLuskie and Andy Tham, both receiving best in class, Steven Flannigan, who received best in class and apprentice of the year and David Flannigan, who received most improved.
Those who received their awards have had the benefit of the new, state-of-the-art facilities at New College Lanarkshire's Kirkintilloch Campus. The college underwent a complete refurbishment of its existing facilities last year to provide a specialist hub for its Electronic Fire and Security offering. The college's commitment to training or up-skilling apprentices and industry specialists have been enhanced by the new facilities.
