New College Lanarkshire College Electronic Fire & Security Apprenticeship Skills Challenge

On 5th, 7th & 8th of March 2019, New College Lanarkshire's Electronic Fire and Security team hosted their annual Skills Challenge showcasing the skills of 3rd year Electronic Fire and Security apprentices.

9th April 2019

The Skills Challenge aims to give current NCL Modern Apprentices the opportunity to showcase their skills and knowledge in a competitive, real-life scenario.

Students were challenged to install and commission either a fire alarm or intruder alarm system to the relevant British and European standards within two-hours, as well as completing a theory test. All those involved worked extremely hard across the 3 day event.

Congratulations to the winners who have all earned a sponsored spot to attend EoT at IFSEC Global in June!

Lee Scobbie - Johnson Controls
Steven Gray - Fortress Security
Michael Battersby - Palmaris Services Ltd
Ryan Gibb - Tyger Security
